St Mary’s Signs Memorandum of Understanding with an American University
St Mary’s University, Twickenham has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Seton Hall University at a ceremony on its Strawberry Hill Campus to grow academic and career opportunities for students.
The MOU builds on the existing partnership between the two universities signed in 2016, which will see both universities collaborating in Clinical Education to create exchange opportunities for undergraduate and postgraduate students, and provide students with opportunities to pursue clinical internships internationally, within the Sports Rehabilitation programmes.
Home to nearly 10000 students, Seton Hall University opened in 1856 and is one of America’s leading Catholic universities, based on a 58 acre campus in South Orange, New Jersey.
Speaking of the new partnership Dean of the School of Health and Medical Science at Seton Hall Brian B. Shulman said, “We are very excited to be further developing our partnership with St Mary’s University. Our two universities have many shared values and goals. The collaborative work we have started in Sport presents a great deal of potential for both Seton Hall and St Mary’s.”
Dean of the Faculty of Sport, Health and Applied Science at St Mary’s Prof Symeon Dagkas added, “I am delighted with this brand new partnership with Seton Hall University, the work we will do together will be very beneficial to both St Mary’s and Seton Hall students.
